Honda Indy Toronto to use Fleetmatics software during track build

TORONTO, ON, June 8, 2016 – Honda Indy Toronto kicked off construction of its historic track this week on the grounds of Exhibition Place and revealed that software from new sponsor Fleetmatics (NYSE: FLTX), a leading global provider of mobile workforce solutions, will help make the build more efficient.

Crews building the 11-turn street course will use Fleetmatics REVEAL software, which monitors fleet locations and driving behavior, and also tracks vehicle speed, mileage and fuel usage. The data collected during the construction will be analyzed to determine where additional improvements to the build process can be made.

"We are always looking for ways to make the process of building our track more efficient," said Jeff Atkinson, President of Honda Indy Toronto. "Having the support of Fleetmatics, and their cutting-edge mobile technology,  is very valuable to our team working on the build and we are very pleased to welcome them on board as a valued sponsor."
