Honda Indy Toronto Joins Forces with Leading Local Force in Innovative Catering - The Food Dudes

TORONTO (June 28, 2018)Honda Indy Toronto, set for July 13-15, 2018, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with local catering and hospitality leaders The Food Dudes.

This dynamic Toronto-based company will collaborate with the annual summer festival held at Exhibition Place on all catering, concessions and beverage service.

“The Food Dudes shares our vision for this annual festival of bringing out Toronto’s diversity and variety as a foodie city, so we are excited to align with this great company,” said Jeff Atkinson, president of Honda Indy Toronto.  “Honda Indy Toronto offers so much more than racing, and we set out to enhance the experience for festival-goers with more creative food options and varied selection by entering into this partnership with The Food Dudes.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to team up with Hondy Indy Toronto,” adds The Food Dudes’ Chief Operating Officer Lindsay Klein.  “This is a world class event that’s a centerpiece of our city’s summer season.  The size and scope of the event gives us the opportunity to bring in a hand-picked group of Toronto’s best restaurants and caterers, as we update the food options with something for everyone.”

Local standouts like Buster’s Sea Cove, Kinka Izakaya, and Toben Food by Design will help expand the variety of food on site at Honda Indy Toronto, while offering practical menu options for families attending.  Menus available in the hospitality suites, created exclusively by The Food Dudes’ award-winning team of executive chefs, will also be wide-ranging and enhanced in quality.

Event-goers can visit The Truck Stop - a village of food trucks from The Food Dudes and a selection of other local mainstays - or beer gardens like the Miller Lite Deck and Pinty’s Pub & Grill featuring additional tables, seated service, and TVs for race viewing.  Innovative dining accommodations will provide an array of inspired dishes while serving as great weekend-long gathering points for friends and family.

July 13th is Fan Friday presented by the Ontario Honda Dealers.  Gates are open free to fans on Friday with a voluntary donation in support of Make-A-Wish® Canada.  Kids 12 and under receive free general admission throughout the weekend when accompanied by a ticketed adult.  For complete ticket pricing and event information, visit hondaindy.com.
