The first-ever Children’s Breakfast Clubs Ride Toronto Indy will take place on July 20
The Children’s Breakfast Clubs has announced the inaugural Ride Toronto Indy, a cycling event along the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto racetrack that aims to inspire young people to embrace cycling and promote a healthy lifestyle through exercise and good nutrition.
In partnership with Exhibition Place, Canada’s premier destination for events and entertainment, and Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto, the Ride Toronto Indy event will take place on Saturday, July 20, where 100 participants from The Children’s Breakfast Clubs will take to their bikes and cycle along the iconic racetrack in Toronto.
The ride will mark the end of a two-month program with the local police centered around bike safety and healthy living, after which each student will be gifted a new bike and helmet, providing a means of transportation, and fostering a love for cycling.
Later that day, Torontonians from the local community are also welcome to take part in the once in a lifetime Indy Toronto leisure cycle experience in exchange for a charitable donation. Riders from the public will be able to take to the legendary Toronto Indy track for a fun early evening ride, with all proceeds directly donated to The Children’s Breakfast Clubs.
Children’s Breakfast Clubs President Rick Gosling said, “We’re thrilled to partner with Exhibition Place and the Honda Indy team to celebrate the launch of our first Children’s Breakfast Club Ride Toronto Indy. Our bike safety program participants can’t wait to take to the track, and we hope Torontonians and visitors alike will also join us on July 20th for what should be an unforgettable ride!”.
“The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto is an experience unlike any other, and we can’t wait to provide our fans the opportunity to cycle the same track as some of their favourite drivers, while bringing awareness to the Children’s Breakfast Clubs’ meaningful work,” said Jeff Atkinson, President of Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto.
“We’re excited to partner with these two incredible organizations for this truly unique event,” said Don Boyle, CEO of Exhibition Place. “Knowing the excitement and passion that surrounds the Honda Indy every year, we’re looking forward to opening up the iconic track to the public and bringing the community together for a great cause.”
The Children’s Breakfast Clubs Ride Toronto Indy will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, starting at 6 p.m.
