Have you seen the awesome new Honda Indy Toronto show car? The one designed by William- the winner of the GO Transit Design an IndyCar contest. In celebration of William’s great work, we wanted to look back at some of the snappiest paint jobs to grace the the Streets of Toronto.

Russell Boyle is an up-and-coming racer from Toronto, Ontario. With numerous wins and championships at the karting level, Russell is currently racing in the Stadium Super Truck Series race this weekend. He sat down with us to chat about how he got his start in racing, his career goals, why Paul Tracy is his hero, and how he plans to race Tracy.

Will Power is quickly powering his way into the history books in dominanting fashion. As the only Australian race car driver to win a Verizon IndyCar Series Championship, Power can normally be found in the front of the pack in any race. 

Fun fact- Americans have visited victory lane 12 times at the Toronto Indy- more than any other nation. It’s the 4th of July, and while our neighbors to the south celebrate their Independence Day, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the American-born drivers that have won the Toronto Indy.

Race fans travelling to and from the event can enjoy 30-minute service on GO Transit’s Lakeshore lines throughout the event weekend, July 15-17.
