NBC expands network coverage of NTT INDYCAR SERIES Championship beginning with season opener March 7 in St. Petersburg
Following the City of Toronto’s decision to cancel major festivals and events by not issuing permits through August 31 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, INDYCAR announced today that the Honda Indy Toronto has been removed from the Series’ 2020 schedule. The event was originally scheduled to take place July 10-12 at Exhibition Place.
The Honda Indy Toronto will not be held on the originally scheduled date of July 10-12, 2020 at Exhibition Place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

GMR Grand Prix Makes Historic Move to Fourth of July Weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (March 20, 2020) – INDYCAR is going racing again, virtually that is. INDYCAR and iRacing, the world’s premier motorsports racing simulation, are partnering to currently stage six virtual race events featuring a stellar lineup of current NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers and possibly some special guests beginning Saturday, March 28.
Starting Lineup: Josef Newgarden (No. 1 Hitachi Chevrolet), Simon Pagenaud (No. 22 Menards/DXC Technology Chevrolet), Will Power (No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet), Helio Castroneves (No. 3 Pennzoil Chevrolet for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge), Scott McLaughlin (No. 2 Team Penske Chevrolet for the GMR Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway).
Starting Lineup: Max Chilton (No. 59 Gallagher Carlin Chevrolet), Conor Daly (No. 59 Gallagher Carlin Chevrolet, all ovals except for the Indy 500), Felipe Nasr (No. 31 Carlin Chevrolet, currently confirmed for season-opening St. Pete race only).
Starting Lineup: Jack Harvey (No. 60 AutoNation/SiriusXM Honda).
