Coca-Cola Canada to be the official thirst quencher of Honda Indy Toronto with new five-year partnership through 2021

TORONTO, ON, June 28, 2016 -- Honda Indy Toront

o organizers announced today that Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada will be the official beverage supplier for the event weekend, which runs July 15-17 at Exhibition Place. As part of a new five-year agreement, race fans will have the opportunity to "Taste The Feeling" and enjoy Coca-Cola products throughout the event site at concession stands, hospitality suites and exhibiting areas through 2021.

"Coca-Cola is an iconic brand and having its long term presence onsite will help enhance the overall hospitality experience for everyone attending the event, from the general admission ticket holder to our VIP hospitality clients," said Jeff Atkinson, President, Honda Indy Toronto. "Many Canadians have a special connection to the Coca-Cola brands, making them a perfect addition to the Honda Indy Toronto team. We are very pleased to welcome them to our growing list of official sponsors."

Starting this year, Honda Indy Toronto fans will be refreshed with a variety of Coca-Cola products including Minute Maid juices and beverages, NESTEA iced tea, POWERADE sports drinks, Dasani water and, of course, Coca-Cola. As part of the partnership, Coca-Cola will support the Honda Indy Toronto volunteer program by providing apparel and Dasani water to keep all volunteers hydrated during what will be a hot July weekend in Toronto. More than 500 volunteers are integral to the event's success assisting in many different capacities around the track.
