Media are invited to join British IndyCar driver Justin Wilson and representatives from Honda Indy Toronto for a special photo opportunity in front of William Ashley’s flagship location at 55 Bloor Street West. Wilson will be enjoying a cup of tea with Charlie Johnstone, President of Honda Indy Toronto and Jackie Chiesa, president of William Ashley, to unveil the custom-made Waterford Crystal race trophies.

Crewmembers and contractors of the Honda Indy Toronto are putting on their hard hats and getting ready to build an Indy car championship racetrack. Media are invited to join organizers of the summer festival as construction of its famous street course begins at Exhibition Place. There will also be an opportunity to get a glimpse of some of the off-track activities and partners that will be present the 2013 event, taking place July 12-14.

TORONTO, ON, June 5, 2013 - Today, organizers of the Honda Indy Toronto kicked-off construction of its famous street course at Exhibition Place. For the first time, the track build will take place at night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to minimize disruptions for commuters. The 11-turn race track will take approximately six weeks to complete and will be ready just in time for two IndyCar races, on July 13 and 14.
